Black Grove In a deep, thick cluster of evergreens many of the smaller trees have deadened, falling into each other and creating a twisted cavern of wood both living and decayed. To find the heart of dead trees, where the Locura wolves lurk, you must first get through the confusing tangle of live trees. |

Hidden Spring Following the steady path into the Locura depths one may find the deep caverns of moist earth from melted snow, scattered flowers surrounding a large hidden spring. The constantly replenished water and trickling stream it is always clean, and the rare flowers are useful in medicines. |

Frozen Marsh Between the spring and the dens, there is a large open area with tall, coarse brown grass in a marsh that struggles during winter and thrives in spring. The melted snow creating shallow water and blooming greens that attract hares and even large game. Though in harsh winters only smaller game is found the Locura wolves can easily rely on their marsh for constant food. |

Ageless Waterfall In the cliffs near Locura's borders there lies a steep waterfall, the water annually re-frozen in winter. The notches carved out to create the massive cascade can be leapt upon, and many times the wolves have used it to show rank. Leaping up onto the large crevices is dangerous if done incorrectly, the ice smooth and misleading to newcomers, and many have found the ice to be rather frail. In spring and summer it melts, but only enough for small droplets of water to reach the ground where curious paws tread. Never has it fully melted, always to remain a shining diamond in the heart of Locura's shadows. |
